Refund Policy

Refund, cancellation, and payment-support rules for optional paid E-BOOKA plans.

Last updated: July 12, 2026

Scope

This Refund Policy applies to optional paid E-BOOKA subscriptions and purchases processed by Paddle. Free browser-only conversion, editing, and standard EPUB export do not require payment.

30-day money-back guarantee

  • The guarantee applies to the first payment for an E-BOOKA subscription, not every monthly renewal.
  • Request the refund within 30 calendar days using Paddle buyer support or the management link in your Paddle receipt.
  • Duplicate, unauthorized, or technically defective transactions should be reported promptly even outside this guarantee.
  • We may decline abusive, fraudulent, or repeated guarantee claims where permitted by law.
  • Mandatory consumer withdrawal, refund, and product-quality rights always apply and may provide greater protection.

Renewals and other refunds

  • Monthly renewal payments are normally non-refundable once the new billing period begins, unless applicable law or Paddle's policy requires otherwise.
  • A material technical defect that prevents access to paid features may qualify for a replacement or refund after reasonable troubleshooting.
  • Paddle may approve full, partial, statutory, or discretionary refunds under its Buyer Terms and Refund Policy.
  • A refund request is separate from cancellation. Cancel the subscription to prevent future renewal charges.

How to request a refund

Use the receipt or subscription-management link sent by Paddle, or submit a request through Paddle buyer support. Include the email used at checkout, transaction details, and a short explanation.

Open Paddle buyer support

Product questions and technical troubleshooting can be sent to [email protected]. Paddle makes payment and refund decisions under its buyer terms, refund policy, and applicable law.

Subscription cancellation

  • Paid monthly subscriptions renew automatically until cancelled.
  • Cancellation prevents future renewal charges and normally takes effect at the end of the current paid period.
  • Cancellation does not itself create a refund for the current period.
  • Use the Paddle receipt, Paddle subscription-management page, or E-BOOKA Account billing link when available.
  • Deleting an E-BOOKA account does not replace cancellation of an active Paddle subscription.

Questions and complaints

For a product-side complaint, follow the process on our Contact & Support page. For payment-side complaints, use Paddle buyer support. These processes do not limit mandatory rights or access to a competent authority.

Access after refund or dispute

A completed refund, chargeback, payment reversal, or other provider decision may suspend or end related paid access. Local browser-only EPUB tools remain available without paid access.

Paddle policy

E-BOOKA's 30-day first-payment guarantee adds to Paddle's current Refund Policy and Buyer Terms. If mandatory law provides greater rights, those rights control.
